3 Things to keep in mind before going wild swimming
There are two kinds of people; one who love swimming indoors and two, who lookout for chances to swim in the wild. So before you hit the freshwater lake for an unplanned swimming session this summers, here’s a few things you should know:
Shallow water can anytime turn deep. This is particularly very common in open water bodies. If you want to go swimming, make sure you have checked the depth or at least know that there is no danger involved.
This is another important thing you should always lookout for. The water maybe murky, and if there is a dense growth of weed anywhere in the water, your leg can get entangled. So be careful.
Before you go for a swim, analyze the water current and see where the flow is fast, which area is safer to swim and what are the possible exit points. Make sure you aren't alone and don’t swim too far away.
